Following their attendance at the International Congress on Relief and Rescue, representatives from the Armenian Red Cross Society and the Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan visited Soha Pharmaceutical Company and Helal Iran Medical Devices Co. were briefed on the capabilities, operations and achievements of the Iranian Red Crescent Society.

Organization, following their attendance at the International Congress on Relief and Rescue, representatives from the Armenian Red Cross Society and the Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan visited Soha Pharmaceutical Company and Helal Iran Medical Devices Co. were briefed on the capabilities, operations and achievements of the Iranian Red Crescent Society.
On Saturday, August 3, 2024, these representatives, after participating in the International Congress on Relief, Rescue, Health, and Management of Arbaeen Hosseini Gatherings hosted by the Iranian Red Crescent Society, visited Soha Pharmaceutical Company and Helal Iran Medical Devices Co., affiliated with the Medical Procurement Organization. They toured the production lines of these industrial units and were briefed on the companies' operations and achievements.
During the visit, which was attended by representatives from the International Affairs and Legal Department of the Iranian Red Crescent Society, the delegation toured various production lines of Soha Pharmaceutical Company, including the quality control laboratory and production facilities. The technical managers of the company provided specialized reports, highlighting the company's capacities, product quality, advanced technical equipment, potential for producing strategic medicines, GMP certification, and the range of medicines available at Soha.
Topics discussed during the visit to Helal Iran Medical Devices Co. included the development of production lines, the establishment of an advanced dialysis filter production line, procurement of polycarbonate materials, production of dialysis filter fibers, and the manufacture of thalassemia filters according to the latest global standards.
It is worth noting that the International Congress on Relief and Rescue was held from August 1 to 2, 2024, at Noor Al-Reza Conference Center, with the participation of health sector academics, a large number of healthcare personnel, and domestic and international guests, focusing primarily on the health of Arbaeen Hosseini pilgrims.
